Mixing Metals (Projectile Materials)

Hey Guys,

This is my first post here and it is a tricky one. I am looking for some hard data concerning the effects of varying projectile material on accuracy. I have heard that solid brass bullets will not perform well out of a barrel that has shot traditional cup and core copper bullets. I have also heard that even changing between various jackets (copper alloys) can have negative effects on accuracy. Has anyone seen this or seen a empirical study on this?

In rimfire i see it. Copper wash 22 will shoot terribly after lead, and vice versa, for several groups, assuming you don't clean.

I have not experienced it in centerfire, only because I shoot cup and core, not monolithic, for the most part
