Minimum Load for Varget in 308 differences

Gents:

I am working up some loads for a ladder test using VARGET in 308. I don't have all of the books with me at the moment, but the Sierra Manual has 175 HPBT loading in the 3X.X GN up to a max of 41.7.

The Hogdon site lists 42.0 - 45.0 for Varget. My recollection is that the Lyman manual is similar to Hodgon.

I am mostly concerned on the bottom end. I loaded up some with 40.0 GN loads last night and am now wondering if I should pull those apart?

Any idea what is going on here? I expect some differences, but the MIN in the Hogdon book exceeds the MAX in the sierra book.

I would ignore the Sierra information and use the data from Hodgdon.

I shoot 180gr bullets in my .308 with more than 44 grains of Varget. It's a warmish load but oh, so sweet.
