Minigator-tall height

I've been trying to find some wide stitch minigator's and finally found some that will be in soon, but they only come in the tall height - 4". I would only use the bag off the bench, and was wondering if anyone has used the tall and how they liked/disliked it. It would have a sinclair gen. II front rest too. Thanks

I have the Standard 3 1/4" Minigator with Tall Ears and also have Edgewood's thin sandbag [Dead Bottom] under it, so as to be able to level the Minigator on uneven bench surfaces.

The nice thing about the Dead Bottom, is that you can fill it as much as you want and adjust the overall height of both bags combined. I keep mine minimally filled, just enough to eliminate the bench's surface irregularities.

I like my set up and recommend it. You never know when you're going to run into an uneven bench.
