Mini Sharps?

For no real reason other than the fun of it I'm thinking to order a mini sharps rifle. Either in 22 Hornet or 30-30.

I only have a little experience with Chiappa made firearms, that would be with the 1892. (I found that to be a nice little gun, only having one manufacturing flaw).

Does anyone here have experience with a Mini-Sharps as far as accuracy goes?
If anyone does, can they post some data/detail of it?

I'm looking for a toy I guess, but an accurate one!

What about scope option? I believe they're drilled/tapped for Unertl blocks. Would a Lyman or Unertl fit and function properly on this rifle? Are the blocks placed far enough back on the barrel?

I would go over to the Leverguns website and ask there. I believe there are a few that have experience with the little sharps

A fellow better want one of those real bad. I would love to have one but as pretty as they are I couldn’t shoot it or carry it for fear of scratching it or doing something stupid. Plus they are way out of my price range. About all I could do is drool. Sure are some fine craftsmen around too.

I have had a Hagn single shot reciever on my birthday wishlist for years. No progress yet.

I would probably be afraid to work on it, anyway.

I have handled the Chiappa Mini Sharp's, and it was actually fairly well put together. No experience with its accuracy, though.
I’ve wanted a mini, chambered in 222. Just feels right as a little walking around rifle and something to look at fondly. Sadly, always seems to be more pressing uses for ~$17,000

This is second-hand from my brother, who guided Rolf Martini on at least one hunt.
Apparently, when Rolf first moved to Canada he spent some time in the area not far from where I grew up(think the sticks, but way further out).
The story goes that the guys he was working for were fairly coarse in their language. Anyways, Rolf meets a girl that he'd like to get to know better, and so goes to her house to meet her parents and have supper. I guess things were going okay, right up until he asked someone to "please pass the f---ing potatoes.".
I guess he got a little English lesson after that.

Totally irrelevant, but funny.

Why did you have to show me that................
Yesterday I was happily ignorant of this Mini Max, now I want one.

At least if I stick the Mini Sharps, I can get it for what the "Ohio Use Tax" would be on the Mini Max.
