milling a scope base to 20 moa cant...?

hey guys....has anyone ever heard of, or know anyone who has tried to mill a scope base and put 20 moa cant on it?
Its a Millett base for a m700 which i am fairly pleased with but a friend and i were wondering if it could be milled down in front to have a 20moa or whatever...? We have access to a mill machine, and would like to (for @#$*& and giggles) play with it and see how it turned out....
So, my question would be, what measurement would be equivalent to 20 moa?

Is it even viable to attempt???

If that doesn't work out, try EGW for 20MOA bases. I have two on two High Power match rifles that work really well. They are only $40 from them direct. They are so consistant that I can take a scope from one rifle and mount it on the other and there is only a 1 min. adjustment between the two.

Yea, i agree with you Watercam....some things are easier to just buy instead of trying to replicate! but, it would be pretty fun to play with it and see if i could do it myself... ;D ;D

In the old days before all these availabe off the self stuff....we would shim the base rear to front, to give us what we needed, 5 moa, 7 moa, etc...........

I mill them 20 moa I would rather save the $75.00 and put it toward scope ,trigger ,bullets or something .
