Mike Sirois - EDM Chambering

I'm like to get in touch with Mike Sirois about a chamber I need done. Is there anyone out there that has a phone # for him? I've sent him an e-mail almost 2 weeks ago and have not recieved a response yet. I know he has been busy, I'd just like to get something in the works.

Don't know who you are looking for but years ago while in machining school I sinkered a number of chambers. Timely and expensive process for chambering. Have not the capibility or desire to try wire EDMing a chamber. The reamer method is still the prefered process. A realy good CNC lathe with a boring bar will do production work.

From what I have heard the past few years Mike is not taking any new work. It's really too bad because his barrels shoot amazingly well.

If thats the case , bad for me, and good for him. A year ago he told me he was too busy and that later he would be able to get around to it. We spoke via e-mail. It took him a couple of weeks to reply before and this time, which is the thrid time I'm still waiting. I'll be patient.

Been around sinker[plunge] EDM and wire. Really can't see any advantage in chambering. I don't think a chamber can be wired.

My 2 Cents, Mikes EDM chambers are out standing. He did a 7-30 Waters in a 16 1/2" SS barrel that would shoot 1/2 MOA at 300 yards. Don't know what his process is, But the work was great. My only complaint is that he is slow to respond to emails. If I can did up a phone number I'll post it.

Keep trying to reach him, you will like his work.
