If we were looking for a nice calm day at Tomball today, we sure didn’t get it. From the first shot to the last, Tomball lived up to its reputation as one of the more difficult ranges in The Gulf Coast Region.
But even in the windy conditions, Kerry Depew shot a fantastic 250 24x to win the 100 followed closely by Vic Smith with a 250 23X.
My hat is off to Kerry.
At the 200, it even got worse. Points were being dropped by just about everybody like pecans off of a tree in a hurricane. In the end, Mike Miller came out on top in the 200, edging out Jackie Schmidt and Ed Bernabeo on the last target.
This also gave Mike the Overall Championship. Congratulations to both Mike and Kerry for a great effort.
Thanks to the Tomball Gun Club for allowing us to have these Matches, and special thanks to Richard and Dwayne Pullman for being great Match Directors.
Here are the overall results and those that took home some trophy’s.
