Yes, If we have enough people present(ie two)We will shoot a 2 x 300 prone match. So 40 rounds and sighters will
get the job done. So guys. get those old rifles out of the safe and come out n have some fun...................Tim

Match program says registration is 7:00-8:00, so some time before 8:00. Weather may cause a delay, but we will get our match in
by the days end. See you in the morning.......................

For a change the weatherman was right and the forecast was correct. We had snow flurries and the temperature was cold to say the least. So now, 2 years in a row we have had a early year match with snow as part of the match. In spite of this we had 13 shooters in attendance and we were able to get everyone on electronic targets to complete the match. Attached please find the match results.
Hope to see everyone at our next scheduled event, 5 May 3 x 600 (approved) at Henry co Gun Club. Also don't forget the Combined Mid Range Regional (6x600) at AEDC on the 26th/27th of May...................Tim/John MidSouth Marksmen

I'm looking forward to the 3x600 at Henry County this Saturday (5/05). I have heard that Tim is bringing libations to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. There should also be a vintage rifle match after the regular match, as far as I know.

This should be a good warm up for the Regional Mid-Range match at AEDC over Memorial Day weekend.

Our next scheduled match is a 3x600 (5 May) at Henry Co Gun Club. Which will be followed by a 2x300 Vintage Rifle Match.
Also take note, we have just been notified that the range at AEDC is available on the 13 of may, So we will run a 3x600 on this
this date also, great practice for the upcoming MR Regional at AEDC on the 26/27th of May. This regional will now be a 3x600
both days with a aggregate of all 6 matches, so please plan on enough ammo to complete all 6 matches.

MSM/Henry Co Shooters

Contrary to the weather forecast and radar, we were able to get all three matches in with out getting rained on. We started off with about a 30 minute delay to let the rain pass. once we started, it was overcast and damp out but almost dead calm for the majority of the day. Turn out was down this month, I'm sure it was because of the forecast. But those who did attend, we fore sure able to get a good no wind zero.
Remember we will be having a 3 x 600 on the 13th at AEDC and the Mid Range Regional will be the 26/27th also at AEDC and be sure to bring enough ammo to shoot a 3 x600 both days. Tim/John MidSouth Marksmen
