Mid-range loads in 7.5mm Swiss

I have several lbs. of RL15 (Alliant) and would like to use it for a mid-range load for my trusty K31. The bullet is a 172gr. Lapua match bullet that I aquired about 35 years ago from a good friend. I would like to load these up to about 2350-2500 fps for Vintage Military Rifle Matches. Thanks everyone and have a Happy New Year!!!...................

I did 55kpsi.
For 172 gr 24" barrel, RL15, that would be 47.5 gr 2744 fps.

There is room for 50 gr that would be 65kpsi 2872 fps, but wikipedia says 55kpsi

I got a couple in 2002 made in 1931.
I have done this
7.5mm Swiss, K-31, 284 brass sized with Lee die, CCI200

1) 168 gr. Sierra .308 Match King

a) 42 gr. IMR4895 ok, kinda wimpy
b) 45.5 gr. IMR4895, ok, primer starting too flatten, 4" group open
sights

figure your OAL with a bullet touching the rifling.
and then work from there. bullets tent to be seated deeper in a k31...like almost no throat.
135's worked very well for short range mil matches

I have 2 K31s. One is a 1941 and the other is a 1957. I am planning to reload for the 1956 rifle. The throat is non-existent in the newer rifle and just slightly deeper in the older one(wear). These are beautiful rifles and the workmanship is second to none. I am going to start with 38.0 grs. and go up to 40.0 grs, in half gr. increments. The targets are only 200 yds. away and I don't need 2700 fps. I would work up a cast bullet load, but since there is no throat and I have the bullets and the powder............................
