Looking at upgrading my L.E. Wilson Trimmer and really like the micrometer attachement that Sinclair Sells. I can't justify the $90 for one. Are they worth it?
I have a friend who is very handy with metal working and he said he could make me something that would hold a micrometer head on the trimmer.
My main question is that their literature says it will work with 22 Hornet cases upto 416 rigby cases. That is ~1.6" difference of length. I can't find a micrometer that has that much adjustment. Does their micrometer acutally have that much adjustment? Or is there another piece that goes between the micrometer and case that makes up the difference.
The max length I can find is a micrometer head that measures 0-1".
