Metal Powder Cans safe HDPE Plastic Replacement

If you have some older metal smokeless powder in metal cans that show signs of rust or wear, I found a great replacement container.

New 'Black' Motor Oil 32oz Bottles for .52 cents ea.
They are HDPE plastic and won't react to the powder. (See Link)

32 oz. Black HDPE Oil Bottle - 28 mm Neck

Used motor oil containers can't be cleaned well enough to be safe from contaminating the powder.

no , but used powder plastic bottles can...
shoot more, empty more bottles...REMOVE THE OLD LABEL...CLEARLY RELABEL

why spend money..containers are free...

the red stuff in your powder is rust..iron oxide..magnetic...nice winter chore..removing iron oxide from powder that is still good....not for everyone for sure....

again just my 2 cents worth

Very good idea. I have some metal powder cans with rust on the outside but have never been opened. Rust on parts of the outside. I took the worst looking one (4831) poured the powder into another container and sliced the can open to examine the inside. Happily there was no rust on the insides. I will now switch to the plastic containers. I noted that the bottles you linked to that the tops are sold separately.
