I have a whidden pointer and Im using this for both my 6.5mm and 7mm hybrids. I have a bit of jaggedness on the tips after pointing. I only point to get the bullet to close about half the size of the hollow point of the original bullet.
Question is do you meplat trim before pointing, or point, trim, point, or point, then trim?
Is this added process worth it? can i just point or will I see some inconsistencies at the range with vertical or shot dispersion?
