Meehl Solutions powder dispenser

My only problem with the autotrickler v4-v3 (not owning one) is the need for an app. I want a stand-alone screen and software. Yes it cost more.

I never understood the “I can’t tolerate an app” line of thinking, but everyone has their own non-negotiables on things like that, so to each their own. I personally find the V4 to be a really, REALLY outstanding product. Also necessary to some degree. If you’re going to die on the “I can’t tolerate an app” hill, then you’re leaving yourself essentially one option when it comes to dispensing ball or flake powders… SuperTrickler. I think you ought to snag one, I’m sure there should be more coming available on the forum in the coming weeks. My prediction is that after a month with the SuperTrickler you’ll be begging for a V4 and that app! Lmao.
Also, in the case of the Meehl, not only does it really more or less “check all the boxes” for what’s considered great in an extruded powder dispenser. It comes in at less money than even the next lowest option which is the ATV4. Ok, Yes the PP Trickler deserves to be part of the conversation too (cheapest of all of them). I just don’t really take it all that seriously (maybe I should). It could use a design refresh IMO.

I've considered the V4 and this one looks like a winner too. I had planned to wait until the Ingenuity started shipping and folks started selling their V4s off or the Meehl is released. My current method is perfectly doable and is just a tad slower than I would like. I just need to be patient

I'm one of those who don't mind an app at all. I usually have at least one old phone sitting around that I can dedicate to a function. It would be nice if there was a 'stand' built onto the unit for a phone if an app is the chosen path.

The V2 Board doesn't use an app. That can be run with the V3 thrower and trickler and the IP trickler.

It's interesting to hear the folks who are against having an app for a powder dispenser.

I am 100% the opposite. After using the V4 I am not interested in any powder dispenser which does not use an ap. I want to use my nice, full sized phone rather than a tiny built in touch screen. Just my preference.

Should have one last final Beta release this weekend to fix a couple of last min bugs with a few new features. Just waiting on the shipping material from my supplier and I will be sending invoices out this next week.

Well it looks like the preorders are beginning to go out!

I'm very impressed with everything I've seen about this system so far. My hat's off to patrickmeehl for delivering on the timeline he said he would, providing excellent transparency and communication throughout, and all while making significant improvements to the design. The final product appears even better than what was originally shown, and he still managed to get it delivered when promised. So he's basically over-delivering on what he said he'd do. That is class and integrity. I've got high hopes for this system. If it performs the way it appears it will I can't see myself spending the "king's ransom" that Paul (IP) wants for his system, even if my number was called. Time will tell...

I received the Meehl Solutions Powder Trickler yesterday. The unit was packed really nicely in a quality foam-lined box with “fragile” marked on the sides. Everything inside was neatly arranged and packed with additional bubble wrap, styrene sheets and cellophane bags. I regret not taking any pictures of the unboxing, but I was admittedly pretty excited to get it out of the box and start dispensing powder. Suffice it to say though, they did a nice job with the packaging.

In the box you get the main unit with the bulk and trickler units already installed in their respective places. In...
