Our rear steer model includes a 1/2" thick aluminum base plate, and three 3/8-16 elevation screws with knurled jam nuts. Also built to accept a 3" bag. Base plate is reversible for right hand or left hand operation.

Is it wider enough to get a 2 inch wide bag for 2 inch rudder ?

Those rests will hold a bag that will go up to 3” wide so yes a 2” wide bag will also fit. I used one for years
