measuring shoulder setback with case gauge

Is it accurate to use a case gauge for headspace measurements? I have an innovative technologies headspace measuring stand. Was just curious if the case gauge was more or less accurate?

Absolutely, it is the best one on the market as far as I am concerned, now if your talking true headspace then no but if your trying to set your die up for shoulder bump I love it, I wouldn't be without mine. fire a case in your chamber, then neck size it, fire it again, then once more, and measure the case in your measuring stand and zero it, spin the case several times and re-zero that should be your true full chamber length set your die up to push your shoulders back about .001 from zero so it should read -.001
