Me too... In need of Cases.

Hi Guys,

No bites on main board post and I figure I'd follow Cheechako's lead...

Would sure like to get my hand on a couple of 6mm cases for my collection, maybe it will help me decide next project. Looking to get one of the following:

6BR, 6XC, 6BRX, 6BRK, 6 Dasher & a 6-6.5x47 Lapua.

Of course I am willing to reimburse folks for their sacrifice and expenses. So please, take pity on this 6mm infactuated guy and PM me if your willing to humor me.

Can't believe I'm giving away a tip right here, especially when I don't have any 6mmBR brass at all either.

But today I e-mailed Lapua and flat out asked them about the 6mmBR brass availability and they actually replied right away. They said that a large shipment of brass is due in from Europe this week,today is March 4) and the first places they will ship to are the big order places and they specifically mentioned MidwayUSA and Sinclairs. Advised me to put orders in with those two places.

I have a good bit placed with Competition and EABrown -- hope they're not too far down the line.

I also may soon be begging at the feet of you guys.

By the way, I still have 1,000 pieces of new .223 Lapua if anyone wants to swap a little for 6mmBR. I figure the best ratio would be roughly 3 boxes of .223 to 2 boxes of 6mmBR.

I ordered 6BR Lapua brass from PV over two months ago at 59cts each. But, like most mail order houses now they are listed at 80cts each, and when you call they are out of stock. I called Russ Haydon's yesterday, and the lady there told me they are also out of stock, but a huge order from Lapua will arrive in the US in about a week. Think I will await my backorder from PV. Will they sell them to me at 59cts each?

Yesterday 3/4 Midway showed they had it at $80. a box.

Ordered a box last night from MidwayUSA and it is backordered until next week ... none right now.

I have a box or two placed in a few stores now.
