I saw the MDT Send It Gen 2 Electronic level monitor on a YouTube video and it piqued my interest. So I go and find it and OMG $230! This is worse than the Covette Tax.
So, fuled by pure and rightious spite, I am going make my own.

While I have my own idea of what to use for microcontroller, multi axis accelerometer/gyro and other items, I am curious about what the Send It is using.
Would anyone be able to take a high res (phone is fine) pic of the insides? Alternatively, if anyone has a broken one that is taking up space for no reason, I would happily pay the shipping cost. Pretty much any physical condition will work, as long as the chip markings and such on the circuit board can still be read.
EDIT: TL;DR at the end
I am not doing this because I really want a level or that I cannot afford the MDT Send It. It is out pure, unmitigated, hyper-fixated, autism adjacent, primal rage at the gall of charging such an ungodly level of markup that would make IBM blush.
And before you ask, YES, I fully expect to spend at least 2x on developing this. Because I can. There is no other reason. If end up making a few of these, because of couse I will (it is a good project to up my skill level in PCB and mechanical design) I will give them away when I go to NRL22 COFs.
I am new to the precision shooting world. Have not really shot anything other than a few mags out of dad's old 10/22 with my youngest 8ish years. Otherwise, it has been at least 20 years. I was raised with firearms and the old man was an AVID hunter. So, I do know a fair bit, but most all of it is outdated. Advice, guidance and helpful hints are welcome.
However, please DO NOT tell me I am wasting my money on this and just get spirit levels from X. It adds nothing to the conversation, I find it personally, concentrating and disrespectful and arrogant. If the post is not clear to you in some aspect, by all means ask for clarifying questions. That helps me in the future.
Whoa boy, that took a hot minute. Rant Off
tl;dr - Read what I wrote and respond to it. I am not looking for spirit levels from Amazon or the like.
Thank you,
Jason
