MDT paint job

Yea I have checked in cerakote just looking for something that isn’t way back logged, I’m really just wanting a solid color anyway nothing crazy.

How far are you out on orders? It’s a coyote tan and looking to go to like a sniper grey
I stay fairly steady to covered up.
I don't ceracoat, I don't see why you couldn't holler at the manufacturer and get a recoat procedure.

As tough as ceracoat is does the new paint have to be ceracoat? I would go to an auto paint store and have them make me a spray can with the color you want out of polyurethane and spray over it. I would think ceracoat would be a great primer and spray over product.

Would I need to scuff the cerakote like you would anything else before spraying?

I used a commercial paint stripper 2 or 3 times. Then took it to the sandblasting cabinet. I thought it turned out very well. Battleship gray metal flake w/ gloss black accents. There's a couple coats of clear on it also.

I would use red scotchbrite to scuff it up so the paint has something to stick to.

Look good! How has it held up? I hunt a lot with this chassis and it rides a four wheeler some too. I have found a local guy BAM Customs that has some really impressive work that I may go with.
