This has been an on going project of mine based on the Oryx chassis
to be used with my ELF wild cat, for the coming match season. Another
7 lb. block of aluminum to start. The Oryx has a straight spine, so for me,
it was a basic inletting job, and throwing chips. The pic is the first mock up
with the original plastic I removed. I incorporated the original butt pad with
offset, and cheek riser. I have a 1.125 flat bottom, and Protektor made a bag
for me. This all goes along with the front rider, I made some time back.
I have a barrel from Stan, and waiting on Ethan to free up one of his lathes.
First week of April I should have all the loose ends tied up and get a chance
to send the first one into the berm.
