I'd say they are at least 10 years or more late to the party. Ugly Beddy has been kicking butt since it was thrown together including at least three of their Sponsored competitors at the local longrange rimfire matches. At least they didn't discover what a great upgrade using a Power Aide bottle for a cheek rest is. Ugly Beddy is still together and still finishes at the top at matches, we built it to prove a point and not for an April's Fools joke.

True story, my buddy Bill was at ANA in Alabama getting his first 1710 and was telling a salesman he was shooting longrange matches here in Ohio. During the talk he said the owner of the range has this old 52-C fastened to a 2x4 stock. He stopped Bill mid sentence and said "You mean Ugly Beddy?" Pretty cool.

I'll be awaiting royalty checks.

Hey.... great minds think alike !

I used a cutout from a Lysol spray cleaner bottle, as the" cheek locator " on my
massaged CVA .35 Remington Hunter.

I fashioned a forend/gap filler that also covers the action's hinge point, from a section cut out from a small 2cycle motor oil bottle.

I used a specially-shaped plastic " adapter " as the main method for attaching the forend/filler to the lower rail on the " exosleloton". I cut the special shaped piece from the spray handle' storage bracket found on 1gl ROUNDUP jug.

Hey...... " Better living, through plastics " !
