Hello everyone the 2026 shooting season at MCSA is just about upon us. Our first match is March 28th and it is the Blackjack Challenge. I'm going to quickly go over the format for the BJC in this email but please make sure you check the attachment below for some updates to all matches this year. We have gotten a little lax in some of the rules and we want to tighten some of this up because we don't want someone to be disqualified or to have a record taken from them for a rules violation somewhere along the line. So please check the attachment.

We are going to shoot a combined score and time over 4 targets. Each time you come to the line you will shoot 2 targets. Each target consist of 12 shots plus 1 sighter round shot in 2 min. 30 sec. You will need 48 rnds for score and 4 sighters if you chose to shoot them. At the end who ever has the highest score wins if there is a tie in score the winner will be decided with the quickest time. There will be 4 shooters on the line at a time. When those 4 shooters are done we will go out and paint targets. DON'T BE AFRAID TO HELP PAINT TARGETS! We will also need people to help spot for hits and keep score. This is just a quick summary to give an idea of what we are going to do. Remember its the first time so we can make changes as we see fit to make it go smoother. For this first match we are only going to allow one rifle per shooter till we see how its going to work out. 30 cal. or less and no magnums. (all PRC's are considered magnums) Price will be $25, payout will be 60% club gets 40%. Payout will be done using the Lewis Scoring System like we did for our Long Range Steel Plate matches.
Thanks
Jesse
