Mcmillan game warden Stock Q

I am wanting to build a hunting rifle with a mcmillan game warden stock using fiberglass and molded in marbeling. Mcmillan told me it would weigh a little less than 2.5 lbs finished with recoil pad and no adjustable cheek piece. Has anyone weighed one and does that weight sound right. It will be inleted for a bartlein 3b barrel.

I believe I have an edge fill game warden under the bench with a sendero contour. I will check, Is edge fill what you’re getting? BDL inlet?

I have 4 of these stocks. but I'm using them with heavier contour barrels. For a 3b, you would probably be better off going with the Game Scout vs. the Game Warden. If you are wanting a lighter stock in a similar configuration, get the carbon option from McMillan, or a Manners EH1.

With all that said, McMillan knows what their stocks weigh.

Thanks. I figured McMillan was telling me the correct weight just wanted to double check with someone who had first hand experience. I'm not looking for a light weight rifle,just wanted to keep it under 10 pounds.
