McMillan F-Class stock

I have read that this stock is a bit too flexible. Does anyone here have one and shoot F-Class with it and what has been your expreience with it?

Thanks,
George

George,

I am on my second mcmillan f class stock. I sold my first gun and am in the process of building the second. I can not seem to find any problems with the stock flexing. It is like every other stock that I have had, if you grab the barrel and squeeze, it will touch. I have not noticed any marks on either of the barrels that I have run. One barrel is 284 shehane. The other is a dasher. I had some vertical with the shehane but, I am pretty sure it was the driver. The dasher would shoot 1/2 moa. easy any day.

I'm suprised no one has mentioned this

I have two McMillan F-class stocks, move the stock three to four inches forward on the front bag will negate the stock (flex) jump.

Jerry,
I am not trying to be argumentative, but doesn't that negate the benefit of a long forearm achieving better balance with long, heavy barrels?

i would like to know what rear bag you fellas are using to shoot from the bench with? I had a rifle builf on one of these stocks but i sold it because i didnt feel comfortable on top of the bench with it. I did like the stock other than that, and from what i can remember accuracy was fine! Lee
