Mcmillan EDGE HV?

Thinking about going with a McMillan EDGE HV stock with a full inlet and pillars for a Borden Brm. Would there be any need to do any additional bedding or just glue it in? This will be a glue and screw setup as the reason for the pillars. Is jb weld still recommended for this type of stock? Im assuming there will be no issues with not running a recoil lug?
