Mcmillan A4 QR stud adaptor Removal

Hi Fellas,
Has anyone Successfully removed the QR stud adaptors with the 6mm allen key heads.
the ones in my stock seem extremely tight and I don't want to break anything trying to remove them.
Are there any tips for removal or are they just extremely tight.
