100 and 200 yards, PPC conditions, a bit chilly, 38 degrees. 300 yards, conditions picking up a bit but ok. 400 yards, blinding SNOW STORM, big wet heavy flakes, everything white, snow accumulating quickly. Nine brave souls and a pot of Chef Toms chili, worth the price of admission alone.
Custom Class, First Jeremiah Keefe....a sizzling 197 x 200 in spite of the 400 yard whiteout.Good shooting!
Second Bob Horton
Third Frank Carrier
Factory Class (Battle of the spouses) First Brian Kunselman
Second (And not happy on Mothers Day) Jeanna K
Small 400 yard group Mike Huth 1.655 in a windy whiteout. Nice shooting Mike.
Hope to see you all next Sunday 5/16 for the 400 yard deer match.

Well, on the plus side down here, the gator i keep hearing about hasn't made it's appearance in the yard yet.

7am, 72° & humid.
Shopping for primers today. ;)

So yinz are saying you could have been throwing snowballs
at them chucks ?? LOL. We lucked out up here in Erie. Lake
temps are up so the shore line got no snow. I did see on the
weather radar a thick blue and white line going thru south
of Ridgway. Maybe keep a stack of snowmen targets when the
occasion arises......Kenny !! If your driving; bring back some of
that fine white Florida sand for packing bags.

I got a few pieces of palm tree wood to play with from my father in law.
Might try to see what kind of grips for a 1911 i can do with it.

Your so right Fuj We were chucking snowballs at those guys. Ran them all in their holes.

He tried that for a year. Never won. Smart guy he is....he chucked....the .25.

It seems to me that Jackie tried this idea a number of years ago with a .25BR(?). I think he reported it on Benchrest Central... That was about the time the Starke family was still making bullets, I think. I have those dies now.

We have left the beautiful fair weather of spring out here and are now dipping our toes in the hot water of summer. Mid-upper 90's in Phoenix headed to the hot 100's soon. Up here in the higher altitudes we graze 90 but mostly hang around the low 80's. Plenty of sunshine. Get up early to shoot or shoot under the lights...;)

I liked Starke bullets. I still have a few 22s. They made good bullets. As far as the weather, I am jealous, no doubt.
