See You There!!!

Pete, you let ryan and me sneak off without paying for our shooting lesson!!! This makes us 1-1 so far and that's not going to settle anything. You got lucky with the dasher at the last match but I have (another) dollar that says your luck won't hold water. I have a mix of leftover ammo I am going to beat you with just to make it interesting!! I don't know if you noticed but we have a Mr Meyer gaining on us quietly. I think I need to buckle down and shoot a good match. See you on the line.

Looking forward to it. This year is definitely more interesting. Between you and Mr. Meyer the competition is going to be fierce!

Forecast as of today does not look really promising, but we will keep you posted the closer we get to Thursday.

The match will be shot if at all possible. Bring your rain gear and your will to win!! It is when we are tested by the extra mile that we find ourselves. We may have a rain delay or two but with a covered firing line and partial cover in the pit we should find a way to shoot.

You guys got anybody going to the show, or is that just a few of the top brass folks? I'm sure Larry and Brenda will be there . . .. Given my 'druthers, I'd rather be here; Regional at Bucksnort this weekend, and most of my crew will be up there. Still, the NRA show is always a good time, and Houston's hardly the worst place to be right now.

I hope they are having a good time down at the weather bureau changing the forecast every few hours. It looks like we have a window in the morning to get through the match! We will push a early start so get up early and drink a pot of coffee before sign up and be ready to rumble.

Mike

Better have that dollar you owe me from the last match... Also better have another crispy one ready for tomorrow! It is on man!

Pete, I guess I better give you that dollar first thing in the morning so you can hang on to it for a few hours. Don't wear it out rubbing it too much, I'm going to want it back. Anybody that can come early in the morning and help get set up will be appreciated. Brett is going to time the relays to keep the match on schedule.

5/3/13--- I don't have the match results but Pete Petros Won the day!!!
He did an outstanding job of wind reading of a very difficult head wind.
Hats off to Dasher Pete!!! He had to tip the cook since the bet is only
Symbolic and the winnings go in the cookies tip jar. BBQ CHICKEN dinner made the match and I ate my share!!!
