Have a question on determining Max case length. I have been using a modified fired brass sized back and using the sinclair inserts in the case neck to determine my max case length before i always install a new barrel. My question is my neck on my 7mm rsaum reamer is a .316 neck and the OD on the piloted sinclair is .309 I'm sure this will measure longer with the smaller pilot but not for sure how much. would it be best to have a pilot made to measure the same as my neck O.D. to keep from getting into issues. Just want to be safe and know exacty where I'm at on max chamber length. Thanks Bill
