Mausingfield Actions?

Any of the experienced fellas here had their hands on a Mausingfield and inspected it? I'm in the market for a lefty 223 and they look interesting... with a short lead time.

I bought a barreled action here I believe. It was a first gen from what I gather. I stuck it in a chassis and it is smooth as butter. It was going to see some exercise today, more rain, 2” last night so that’s on the back burner for a while.

Being CRF I always presumed they would be a bit clunky. Reliable but clunky. Really interesting to hear from people that have used them that that they are actually very slick

I always wanted one but the price is pretty steep. They are pretty innovative although nothing much is that new except the toroidal lugs which are hard to pronounce and that esoteric bolt knob that Butch is fond of. Can't think what Ted might've been drinking when he designed that knob but I suppose it works as intended for fast bolt manipulation.
