Mauser 98 stocks

Hello to everyone here the site is great I have a mauser 98 that i am looking for a stock for it the barrel is a heavy bull barrel the contour is almost straight close to an inch the whole length I was wondering if anyone knows a stock that would be close to fit it thanks alot

All depends on what Mauser you have! large ring standard, large ring interemdiate, small ring. I just got one from a company called Boyd's but it's not a heavy barrel stock! I have one I took the action from to build this rifle but it's an M48 or Yugo action that has a 1" barrel channel. We would need a bit more information about your Mauser to point you in the right direction. Later,

Ooops I forgot to check back! I got a laminated from Boyds sitting here and it's a good stock, Richards Microfit makes them but I can't put up with the hassels then you could look at Bell and Carlson I have one of thier stocks on my LR 243. I have Turks, VZ-24's, and the Yugo with the Yugo being the most difficult to find a stock for but they are getting easier to find. Sorry I didn't get back sooner. Later,
