Match 1&2 600yd benchrest are in the books, weather was awesome both days, had the typical Vapor trail switches, but that didn’t stop Matt Koohy and Dan Hullinger from setting some new range records on day 1
Matt shot a 1.472 agg in light gun with a 190 score!
Dan shot a .659 group with a 45 for a single target group record in heavy gun!
We had several new faces at the valley, Jason Chancy from Texas and Doug Irvin from Illinois, great additions, Jason shot the lights out in Heavy gun on day 2.
Seems to be a growing interest up here again in benchrest, sounds like we are going to gain a few more new faces in the coming months.
Had a lot of discussions about Freedom benchrest, my take from listening was all positive, everyone is looking forward to it.
At the next 600 yd match in April,we will run a side match after the regularly scheduled match , a 4 target Agg with the new rules, everyone was stoked at that.
We ate good, we had a ball, good friends and good times!
