Martini Gunsmith ???

i recently acquired a Martini in 22 Hornet. I bought some Nosler custom-22-hornet-40-grain-ballistic tip ammunition from Midway. The problem is that about every other shot the case is stuck in the chamber and the extractor can not pull it out. The case has to be knocked out with a cleaning rod.
Does anyone know a gunsmith with lots of Martini experience ?
Any help would be appreciated !

Check your sizing dies first. Mic all of your rounds just above the web or rim and write the sizes down. I'll bet the tough to extract are larger in diameter. I don't think that you have a rifle problem.

It surprises me that a Martini would have extraction issues with the Hornet.

Question: Has the receiver been drilled to clean from the butt end? If not, the issue could be as simple as barrel hygiene - a build up in the chamber.

These are factory rounds. I reload for several 20 & 22 cal. rounds but wanted a light, easy carry, no hassle, rifle to pot annoying critters here at the ranch. Didn't work out that way. I will Mic the rounds and mark them and see what happens. Thanks so much for the suggestions!

I took a look with my bore scope , everything looks clean and proper. Yes it is drilled to clean from the butt. Thanks for the suggestions!
