I have for sale a like new condition Marking Methods 300 metal etching kit. I have two of these kits and do not need both, therefore I am selling one. This is a heavy kit weighing approx.. 36 lbs. These kits work very well in marking all types of metals. Everything needed to successfully mark gun barrels or any metal is included in this kit. Marking Methods is still in business and sells this same kit as well as stencils, chemicals, pads etc. They sell via a price quote so I do not know the current price, but I do know it is quite a bit more than my asking price of $500 plus shipping of $40.00. There is a video on YouTube of a kit just like this one being used to duplicate barrel marking on an old Winchester. Stencils can be made using a typewriter " which is what I used " or they can be made on a dot matrix printer. Marking Methods will make and sell custom stencils with your individual logo or markings on request. Their stencils are made of a tough material that last for many uses.
I am going to list separately an Epson LQ 590 Dot Matrix printer that would be a great addition to this kit. The printer is new but I can not find the original box. I never used the printer only a typewriter. I am not particularly computer savvy, and did not like figuring out all the printer/computer issues.
