Mark/line in new chamber?

Please pardon my ignorance but... For those of you that chamber barrels, what part of the process could cause this kind of cut? It's in the middle of the shoulder on a newly-chambered barrel.

I was cleaning and inspecting my rifle after having a new barrel put on (my first time getting a barrel changed since getting into HP silhouette two years ago) and saw this with the borescope.

I have yet to fire any shots through it yet so I don't know if this cut/line will affect the brass in any way.

Unfortunately there are a few other issues with the barrel work, so I'm trying to decide if I should just shoot it first to see if it's a problem or to take it back and have him address the multiple issues.

Thanks.

Well, that is not good. Possible bad reamer or chip weld. It also does not look newly chambered, it looks like carbon flakes or pit in there.

Hung a chip.

Why I borescope every chamber.

It's hard to tell what I'm looking at, But it looks like the Shoulder area? It looks like chip weld may have happened caused a scratch in the shoulder. Dull reamer most likely, Yes I would take it back and have the problem fixed.

Definitely not right. Maybe a dull reamer. Achip on reamer could do that. If u fire a round you will definitely have a strong line on the shoulder. If there are other issues as you indicate it definitely should go back
