march scope users?

I'm fixing to make a March scope purchase, but I'm on the fence to which fixed power to order for 1-200yrd score shooting. Please give me ur thoughts of the March powers u have used and how much can u see ur flags through the scope. I can't Make my mind up on if if want a 40 fixed or to go on and just order the 50 fixed. Lets hear what u guys have preferred!

I have a 50, but i got it to have the versatility to shoot longer distances.

If you are limiting to 100-200, you will be fine with a 40. Since you are doing score, a FCH or a 1/16 dot would be great. Mine is 1/16 and I'm crazy about it.

I shoot long range, but when I shot with some of my friends who shoot 100-200 br they were using the 50x march. I liked it very much, but we did not set the flags up in the scope. We shoot with both eyes open to watch the field. With my limited experience I would buy the 50x, but I tend to like more power in my scopes than most.

Chris, I think March offers a raised crosshair model. That'll let you go to the 50x and still have flags in the bottom of the scope. That said, have you looked through the new NF Comp, yet?--Mike Ezell

For 100-200yd group shooting, I have 2 of the EPS 36-55 Marches. Its a very good scope, and for some reason I find with the EPS set on the high 40s to around 50 power where I usually shoot, the EPS optics are clearer than the fixed 50 power March I used to have.
