March Scope leather caps

Just checking to see if the leather caps come with all the March scopes now? The Deon site says yes but I did not recieve any with the two that I recently ordered from Bullets.com
Maybe it's for the new High Master scopes only?

The scope I received from Bullets.com had flip caps/sun shade standard (10-60x52) but I had to order the leather caps as an accessory.

2, 6x60 that I have ordered in the past 6 months or so came with the flip up covers. 8x80 purchased several years ago came with the leather. I have since purchased the flip up for that one also. I prefer the flip-ups. Never to get lost;)

As a side note, I had a local shoe repair shop sew on a pair of 1/4 wide elastic cords to the caps to keep them together and retain them on the scope. I don't understand why they come separate:confused:.

The scope I received from Bullets.com two months ago had flip caps, sun shade (10-60x52) and leather caps. I guess I just got lucky.

If someone wants to buy/trade for my leather ones let me know.

Good for you Joe!

Every single March scope that I ever bought came with 1 set of leather caps and 1 set of neoprene.

Not true in my case. I have 3 10-60x52 scopes and only one set of leather caps, but that's OK me. The plastic ones works just as well.

Jim, I am assuming that you bought them from Bullets.com
The Deon site does say that they should be included with each scope. It's strange that some are getting them & others are not. I know that the retailers are selling them for $55 as an accessory, maybe that might have something to do with it

Each scope on the March site (for American Continent market) states what kind of caps it comes with.

For example (with leather):

http://www.bullets.com/shop/brand_march-optics/secondfocalplane/48x52mm-fixed-scope?src=march

Without leather, but with flip ups:

http://www.bullets.com/shop/brand_march-optics/secondfocalplane/10-60x52mm-scope?src=march

Some time ago Deon started including flip ups instead of leather caps on some scopes. We do not remove leather caps to sell them separately. That's just not us. If buying March scopes in North America refer to the www.Marchoptics.com site.

Thanks.

I bought my latest 48X from Bullets.com, the others from private parties and Kelbly's. All six of them had both.
