March Genesis - 400 MOA in the Turret

BTW, March has done magic with FFP in regards the thickness of the reticle, NOT increasing it as you go further out and up in magnification.

Confirmed with March this AM. Contact them for details...IF they will share them.

Must really be magic then...

Now to square this with the Good Lord.

It was absolutely correct as I posted it, no wife to deal with, just me and the Good Lord.

And why do you have 2 different user names?

If you pause the video at 2:38 it sure looks (to these novice eyes) like the ocular and objective have pivoted compared to the octagon scope body.

Look at the Brackney mount and Bucky's mount. They are light but dont have the huge adjustment. But that would be an easy design change. Problem is they also can move under recoil. I have the Bucky's and tom has the Brackney. I am curious how this new March with hold. The two I mentioned have a mechanical lock, while this march has a coil spring by the looks of the tube like the NF br has. If this mechanism holds I sure hope they offer it in a lighter version for BR.

"Central gimble system and slider bearings with main frame"

By the description, and looking at the slider bearings, leaves little doubt how it adjusts.
And integrated rings/mount is an aspect I've wanted to see in scopes for a long time.
I like it .... very innovative !.!.!

It may be a great scope! But as an old helicopter pilot, I never want to fly the “A” Model!

I agree, but for ELR and large range of adjustment, haven't really seen any mounting system that isn't "A" model. 400-MOA is a very appealing aspect, that hopefully "C" models can come from !.!.!

Bart/Donovan - possibly you have never "flown" a March. I've had three of them...very, very, very, well designed and made. I expect zero disappointments (on the tech side - price and aesthetics...). That video really opens up your mind.

To purchase a high-end scope and a high-end adjustable mount system, costs can be considerable. Having both integrated into one, makes the price of the "Genesis" more understandable and justifiable - IMO.
And is why I like it .... very innovative !.!.!

Glorifed Balvar 8. Technology from the 1960's applied today.

Alex was right - a fixed scope in an adjustable mounting frame.

Bart My reloading and long range shooting mentor was a helicopter pilot in the years before he retired. He flew fixed wings aircraft before that, executive planes and crop dusters. He said he would never fly in any helicopter that didn't have Bell written all over it. He really like the 407 that he flew last.

Really!!!!!!!!
I’ve owned March scopes from the very first ones that were made! Including testing BEFORE they finalized their design!
I think total I’ve owned 10 or more! Currently own Two!
