We only had 12 shooters today as we were competing with the Shilen Swap meet and the Grahm clay match.
We expect more shooters for our match in May.
The wind was mild this morning, and started kicking in about the 3rd match of 100 yards. By the time the 5th match rolled in, we were looking at decent wind drifts of 5-8 mph with a few gusts up to 12.
When 200 started it was a whole new ball game. The Texas wind was here to stay and blowing a twitchy 12-15.
It was some real tough shooting conditions. By the time the 3rd relay at 200 was here the tails were standing straight out, and you and the 6 ring became real good friends.
Great shooting to Wes Johnson who led all scores shooting his Hunter Benchrest rifle.
Hope to see you a the next match where we will shoot the 200 yard first.
