Maple Stock - Worth It?

Beautiful piece of quilted maple there.
I'd venture to say the stock is easily worth $2000-$2500.
To make a stock like that first you'd have to find a chunk of quilted big enough, that alone is gonna be tough to do.
Then it has to be cut and shaped, add in inlet pillars and bedding and finishing.
Ya might ought pull the trigger!!
Definitely with Bc'z on this one.

A man has to have what a man needs.
Drop dead outstanding would love to have my Hands on it.
Hunt it yes.
I had and Hunted a Leonard Bernell Rifle for a few years ? I heard your Nuts more than once. I would love to fondle it today.
Go for it.............................

I love beautiful things. But, if I can' use it, I don't want it.
For me, keeping things 'safe' is pointless. To me, wear marks are cool.

I do love a nice maple stock. A friend on the other side of the country found a really nice tiger stripe semi inlet. He asked if I have a pre-‘64 model 70. No, so I searched for and found one. It will be a 6.5x68 with a fluted chrome moly Krieger barrel. The stock will get finished by BC’z. It’s gonna be so pretty .
