Making your own bullets

Where would one go to see how to do this and where to find the necessary equipment and supplies.
Reason I ask is I may have a lot of time on my hands pretty soon because of a possible neck surgery, right shoulder and hand becoming more and more difficult to use and sleep is almost nonexistent.

There's pretty much info if you use google. I know several shooters who roll their own, and seen it done up close.......but I'd say that use of free time is the last thing I'd contemplate with your medical problems.......unless you can get someone else to work the presses.

I make bullets Pm me if you really think your up to making them.
It,s not inexpensive to start but with some effort it can be very rewarding.

If you have back issues, right arm, shoulder, wrist issues, arthritis, headaches, can’t lift 50+lbs over and over or can’t stand up for 8hrs straight don’t waste your time. I’ve seen a few made in my days and it’s not for the faint of heart.

I guess it was a good idea to pass some time while recovering during the winter but after reading the responses maybe not.

Yes I agree, if you have neck and arm issues, its not a good idea to swage bullets. Now if you could get George to make a hydraulic press... I had one (from another Mfg.) for a few years and I prefer to use a hand press. With the hydraulic you don't have the necessary feel of say when a jacket splits. or a core is just not right. I just finished a batch of 1000 .30 cal 200gr. for a friend and I felt like I went 3 rounds with Ali.
If you do decide to go ahead with this project call George he will square you away with the best dies and listen to him, he knows what he is talking about. and don't take any shortcuts. Mike
