Making Berger 220 gr better?

For those who shoot 220 gr, how do you sort/prep the bullets?
I'm thinking sort by Ogive then trim them to the same length. Will I still get deviations in meplat diameter?
How would you improve the consistencies of the 220 gr LRHT? I'm not too much concerned about BC at my current goal is punching papers 1000 yards.

Sort by weight and BTO. Can trim as well but I don’t think it’s necessary. Just make sure the tips aren’t damaged or deformed.

Run the same slower powders on the 220gr that you would with the 230gr. Also CCi 250 primers seems to act the best with the 220gr. I have tested FED GM215M against CCI 250 in 3 different 300 NMI builds and CCI always wins for consistency and laddering with that bullet.

First off, insulting a long time respected contributor and your being relatively new
isn't going to get you many friends here.
He was asking a simple question.
I was going to give some advise, but changed my mind.
Saying I did the test to determine that and he shouldn't have speculated is considered insulting?
Why do you even reply to that when I had already removed the comment? Keep your secrets bro.

Each lot of bullets has different variances. It is important to hone your process. Be open to the idea that a measurement might be really important for one lot and meaningless on the next. Your mileage may vary.

You never mentioned anything about NK tension, primers, seating depth tests etc
You ask a questions without any details is impossible to answer so RELAX BRO!!!

ok I realized I jumped the gun so I deleted my comment.

BTW I edited my original comment as well to remove what I said about the 215 gr. it could be my process that caused issues with the 215gr. but I have spent enough time and components on the 220 gr and they have been performing well so I will stick with it.

Here are the specifications we track IN A LOT OF BULLETS. NOT ACROSS LOTS OF BULLETS:
BC variance in a box of BERGER BULLETS IS 1% OR LESS. I suggest that if you are not shooting ELR competitions that sorting by length or trimming the meplats is not necessary. If anything point the noses up using the WHIDDEN POINTING DIE or just leaving them as is.
In regard to shooting ELR. Sorting the bullets by length can be a good thing in regard to BC,
