What is the correct procedure for making 30x47 Lapua cases from Lapua .308 cases. I know I can neck up 6.5x47L cases to 30x47L, but I bought a barrel here chambered for the 30x47L made from .308 Lapua cases.
I trimmed a .308 case to 1.840 and ran it through my 30x47HBR die and it looks ok, but it sure wears out the arm on a Forster trimmer.
