Major Announcement at JLK

JLK bullets are consistent in size tolerances.

I'm late getting back to the subject; been traveling all week.

The above comment from Dgd6mm and earlier ones from Ben are actually a little understated, (well not so much from Ben.)

The bullets that Swampy produces are amazing in terms of consistency, head and shoulders (and ogives) above anything I've gotten my hands on anywhere. The weight, the boat tail, the distance to the ogive and the length of the bullets are so much more consistent. The meplats are nice and clean. You do not have to do anything to these bullets; just load them from the bucket.

Up to now, JLK has been what is called a Boutique Bulletmaker, with all the travails that come with that for the customer and I suspect, but do not know, for JLK themselves. Years ago I recognized that if I wanted to shoot the best most consistent bullet available, I would have to order early and in large quantities. It has been feast or famine; at various times I would have several thousand bullets on hand while at other times I was reaching the end of my last bucket and counting the days until the expected shipment. I have been keeping ahead now for a few years, buying bullets even when I was flush with them.

If Swampy overcomes these availability issues and keeps his legendary and unmatched consistency at or near the current level, it will be a good thing for us.

Amen brother.

On your recommendation I bought a thousand and after putting a couple hundred down range I called Swampy back. Good thing I did because I was able to buy his last 2,055 left from the run he had just finished. Some call it hoarding I call it planning ahead.

PS I was at the range this morning to practice for Sunday's match. When I got there it started drizzling, it went down hill from there. I left at 8:00 and it was coming down in buckets. I guess I'll practice tomorrow am
