Magpul for a Ruger American /5.56

I think this has been discussed but I want to replace the stock on Ruger American in 5.56. The Magpuls are now in stock but the magazine from what I understand I will need to purchase separate.
Anyone using the magpul in 5.56?
Any suggestions on what brand to buy and do they work/ feed? Thanks

I use both Magpul and Pro Mag Roller magazines in my American Predator. Both work very well with the Pro Mag maybe being slightly smoother as to feeding. My rifle came already set up for AR type magazines.
