These shots are all with Magnetospeed on barrel. 1 shot per 1gr powder step in load development. 2 different powders. POI moved basically 2" low for each powder. These were snap shots just to get a speed with each new load. Really just pointed and fired at extra target. Some of the individual loads grouped much worse shot carefully as unique 3 shot groups. Would have thought this was a fluke if was not the third time I have seen this happen. I swear there must be something to a barrel tuner taking poi variance away from different loads. I have never tried to shoot a 3 shot group, of the same load, with the Magnetospeed attached. The last time I observed this accidental "tuning" effect I bought one of the cheap rubber Limbsaver things to put on my barrel. Never ended up trying it but still might. This is a 6.5mm #2b sporter contour barrel. I posted something on this before. Just amazed it keeps happening. Seating depth was very close to same on all these loads.
. Sometimes having the MS attached will result in smaller groups, sometimes they are about the same as with the unit removed, and sometimes they are larger. Most likely, which effect you observe depends on where your bullets are exiting during that specific barrel's harmonic cycle.
