Magneto Speed - V3 vs Sporter

Hi folks,

Anyone got any opinions on the difference between the V3 and the Sporter?

(I can do my own averages and SD's no bother)

The sporter will give you SD and ES readings along with HI/Lo and average velocity across the string.

For my use, only want to know velocity and the hi/lo readings, the sporter works just fine. Now if you want more info and to be able to transfer to your smart phone ( I don't have or use one) like my shooting buddy does, then you want the V3.

The Bayonet on the V3 will work on a greater variety of larger contour barrels as well as suppressors, the sporter bayonet will not and no you can't buy a V3 bayo for a Sporter model MS they aren't interchangeable. If you'll never use a MS on anything larger than a 1in diameter barrel or suppressor the MS Sporter model will likely work fine but if you run a suppressor the V3 is what you want.
