Mag Fed Neck Tension?

What is the proper amount of neck tension on a Rem 700 7mmR.M. that will be fed from the magazine?

002"-.003" verified by measuring sized neck diameter after sizing & then w/ bullet seated should serve you well.

Honestly I find what the rifle likes by testing different size bushings. It could be from .002-.004 just depends on the rifle.

Load same loads and shoot using different bushings until you know what rifle likes and this is best done at same session so nothing changes.

Thanks Guys,
This would be for a hunting rifle I might add. Just dont want the seating depth moving around while carrying and bumping the rifle around in rough terrain.

What I did at one point was loaded a round and marked it up. I also ran a thin marker pen round the bullet at the neck bullet junction. I then placed the round in the bottom of the magazine and fired off quite a few test rounds, but never shot the marked up round. At the end of my practice session, I unloaded the magazine and the bullet had not moved in the neck of the test round.
