Mag fed 6br build

Ive been shooting 6BR out of a TL3 for years now with AICS mags and PVA spacer kit and MDT BR mags without issue but the lightest bullets I shoot are 95 TMK's..

I’d ask Jim Borden if his Super Short Six has been tested with shorter bullets. It does cycle 6BRA flawlessly with 105s.

Can’t remember if I mentioned it before but I have ran them with 68s and 108s. It’s great, just takes a small amount of tweaking.

I run 6BR in American Rifle Co(ARC) magazines(AICS pattern) with Long Rifles Inc followers. I have used the with Zermatt/Big Horn TL3 and now both a Nucleus 1.0 and an Archimedes from ARC.

I feed 6 Dasher with 55, 58, 70, gr Varmint bullets along with the 105, 107, 110, 115 gr in trued Rem 700 action 7.5 twist 28" barrel mounted in an aluminum chassis with the MDT mags made especially for the short 308 based cartridges.. like the 6 dasher, 6 BR.

I believe this is the route I want to go with my 6br varmint rifle build.

I run my Remington action in .22BR with a modified. 223 AI plastic mag given to me by a customer of mine. Fits an M5 inlet and runs flawlessly. It's 10 round for a .223 but I run 5 as it is a coyote rifle. If you don't connect with 5 rounds, 10 will not help the cause! Lol

Mike Bryant not Walker. That modification is hit or miss at best. I did one of those 25 years ago and ended up taking the rifle apart because of poor feeding.

My bad. I can’t remember my name anymore. Walker was Remington I think. Always wondered if that mod worked. Seems to me by now they would have made something that would feed 6BR reliably.
