Made Switch Barrel for Customer today

I have a customer whom I built a very nice F-Class rig on a Stolle F-Class action, Krieger tight-bore .298, 1:10, 30" barrel in a McMillian Prone stock. He won a new Broughton 1:12, 5C, heavy Palma weight barrel at the Nationals in Raton, New Mexico in September 07. I chambered it for him today, with the customers custom cut PT&G match reamer. The finished barrel was 31". I test fired it and it shot and extracted without any issues. The customer has been shooting 210 Bergers and 185 Bergers. He plans to try 150 Bergers and 175 Bergers with this new barrel. I wish him great success as Tim North makes fine barrels. It will be interesting to see how the Krieger and Broughton stack up against each other. For F-Class shooting.

I don't think he can lose with either barrel! I'm a pretty solid Krieger customer, but would love to try one of North's barrels someday.

This customer Jeff Rorer and his rifle set the new F-Class TR record three times last year. I am confident he will put this new barrel throught the paces. He will continue to use the old barrel for specific matches. It is throated mutch to deep for any bullest lighter than 185s.
