I got distracted when starting to load a 50 rd. batch of 7-08. Had that scale pan with a busted off tab staring me in the face. Probably will never use it. Now back to loading..........

Didn't take long to figure out using it as a handy trickle up device.... spot on 40.0 grs. IMR 4320 for precision steel blasting ammo.

(Actual pan amount is over 80 grs. For demo purposes only)

I dump from the measure, no trickling for these loads. 4320 meters so nicely and is an excellent 7-08 propellant. Too bad it was discontinued.

When the tab on the pan of my RCBS 1005 broke off I soldered it back on with Lumiweld. Just had to remove a little weight from the pan hanger to zero out.
It's worked fine for 10+ years.

glad to know my fear of that tab breaking off due to work hardening is not irrational. That thing is too flimsy and I keep having to bend it back in place.
